Cane Toad

Rhinella marina

Description:

The front door, outdoor, nightlight bulb was on. When this light is on at night, it attracts predators and prey, such as: reptiles, amphibians, insects, bugs, moths, etc., to the outside of the front door. At around 9:00 p.m. at night, I spotted one amphibian, resting on the bottom ledge, of the right front window. This amphibian, was resting on the bottom ledge, so it would be able to catch some prey, ( insects and bugs ), during the nighttime. This is a great spot, for a predator. Different shades of brown, is the color of this amphibian. This amphibian, also had bumpy skin.

Habitat:

I spotted this amphibian, resting on the bottom ledge, of the right front window, trying to catch some prey, ( insects and bugs ), during the night time.

Notes:

At around 9:00 p.m. at night, I spotted one amphibian, resting on the bottom ledge, of the right front window, trying to catch some prey, ( insects and bugs ), during the night time. Since the outdoor, nightlight bulb is on, there will be plenty of prey, ( insects and bugs ), flying and crawling, all around this lightbulb, during the night time. A great opportunity for this amphibian, and for other predators too.
