Capusa senilis
A 35mm long pale grey moth with thin black veins on wings. Wings also showed two diffuse brownish-grey bands and were held close to the body tapering to a point at the abdomen end. Head and thorax had tufts of silvery grey setae. Grey eyes were prominent.Black antennae were swept back and held under wings at rest. The thick abdomen and under-side of hind wings were white. The lower end of the tibia showed a shiny sharp spikey black spur (pic 6) which is characteristic of Capusa genus. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dhobern/904...
Spotted under bright lights on a concrete ramp - eucalyptus and native trees seen in the area, bordering a football ground.
