Hi, I think this is another Amanita species, for A. ocreata is a species from the Phalloidae section in Amanita. These mushrooms have a true volva and lack the veil remnants on the cap. I'd suggest you look in the section Lepidella (with species like A. atkinsonia and A. cokeri), which has the spiny warts on the cap and a bulbous, warty base of the stipe, lacking the typical sack like volva. http://www.amanitaceae.org/?section+Lepi...
