Chloris chloris
Is 15 cm long with a wing span of 24.5 to 27.5 cm.
This is actually a Greenfinch and not a Goldfinch, which has gold bars on the wings and a red face (except juveniles which have a plain face).
The Scientific name of this species was changed very recently from Carduelis chloris to Chloris chloris. I used birdguides reference as the others have not updated their web pages yet.
