Leucophaeus atricilla
This Laughing Gull and a few of his buddies were flying within a few feet of me right before sunrise on a fishing pier in the Delaware Bay. I had been up all night fishing and at around 5:30 am these guys were ready to get an easy breakfast. Some would sneakily run across the pier, some would swoop down, and others would hover at face level with me only feet away. Pretty fun to have them that close, just had to make sure they didn't steal anything.
