Roundleaf Sundew

Drosera rotundifolia

Description:

A carnivorous wetlands plant. It uses sweet sticky excretions to attract insects and then slowly close in upon them, digesting them for nutrients.

Wetlands

Notes:

These can be found all over Killarney Provincial Park. The cranberry bog trail off the main campground is a great place to see Sundew and other wetland plants.
