Common Sundew

Notes:

I was surprised to see sundews on the rocky slopes of Emu Mountain as they like moist conditions and there is no natural water source on the mountain. However, we've had a lot of rain and there was a lot of puddled stormwater around - it was actually flowing down the track in places. These sundews were flourishing in a particularly damp spot. Perhaps they can lie dormant for a long time until conditions are right for them...
