Description:

very easily identifiable with its bright pinky red chest and cheeks and black head. the male (seen here) is much brighter than the female who has a much more orangey yellow breast.

Habitat:

seen at the feeding station outside the lodge near the Martinselkenon wilds centre.

they are very cute and look tiny at the side of the bullfinch! The males seemed to be a much more vibrant pink than we get here though!
