Conifer forest of fir and hemlock. No understory in the area.
Found beside the new trail which will eventually join the Chuckanut Ridge hiking trail with the West Lost Lake hiking trail.

Thanks Kathleen. I wanted to post my pictures because they show the complete lack of green plants in the area.

These are beautiful Jean! I can see why you are so interested in the fact that they have no leaves after having seen all those one in Manning Park this week which all have lots of leaves.
