Notes:

Appears to be some sort of goose. I found these birds roaming freely near Thane, Maharasthra, India. However I think the birds are foreign in origin. Height a little over 2 feet.

Liam thanks for the info.
I think you are right about them being domestic. I used to see them in a particular area and only in the mornings. Likely they were let out by the owner during that time.
Which one is the mallard ? there are 5 of them. I am guessing the shorter one in middle with a blackish head

You have Chinese Geese, Chinese x Graylag hybrids, and a Mallard. All domestic.
