Black Rat Snake

Pantherophis obsoletus

Description:

Small; may have been a juvinile. greyish brown , darker spot/stripe pattern.

Habitat:

Woodlands; often found in trees. also inhabits barns, etc...

Notes:

-Constrictor; preys upon rodents. one of the largest snakes found in KY.
