Yellow flower. Hollow stem. Milky white sap.

Habitat:

In the grass. Along the road.

Notes:

Entirely edible. Roots are roasted as coffee alternative. Flowers in salades or dried to drink as tea. Young leaves eaten in salades or used as herb in herbal pancakes. Older leaves taste bitter. This weed is known for its liver friendly properties.
