Great Kiskadee

Pitangus sulphuratus

Description:

Eye-catching colours. Medium sized bird with a sulphur-yellow chest and belly, white throat, broad black eye stripe and pleasing manner! Very photogenic.

Habitat:

On the boundary wall of the Hotel I stayed at in Guadalajara, Mexico. It initially sat on the leafless branches of a tall tree and allowed me some shots and then, came closer to inspect me (I suppose).
