Thank you ForestDragon, for your help and suggestion. Unfortunately, I don't have any other view. The little guy was resting on a Blue Pickerel Weed leaf in our backyard pond. I couldn't get any closer without fear of falling in ^__^. I will keep looking for him though.
Nice capture, Gladys! I think there is a good chance that this is a Chinese Mantid nymph. Do you have any other views?
