St. Andrew's Cross Spider

Argiope versicolor

Habitat:

Banana tree. Warm to hot place surrounded by paddy fields.

Notes:

This clumsy (see the ill-maintained web!) St. Adrew's Cross Spider was spotted hanging its web from a bunch of banana trees. Since it was at a height of about 3.00m, I'd to use the flash which partly is throwing away its natural beautiful colour patterns.
