Description:

This very common butterfly has a body size of some 3 cm, with the wingspan of 5 - 6 cm. Wings are marbled with black and white pattern.

Habitat:

A dry meadow in a local town park; meadow surrounded by a mixed, but predominantly broad-leaved forest.
