Description:

One of the smaller dragonflies, a bit shy of 4cm in length; and around 6 in wingspan. Bright red body, with some black markings on abdomen; legs are all black, wings wing dark nerves and brown pterostigma.

Habitat:

Found on edges of stagnating water; on edges of a lake in bogs of Jura.
