Aleurina ferruginea


Small greenish brown firm jelly discs with upturned rough margins. The largest of these otherwise smooth discs were about 20mm. Undersides were smooth.


Spotted growing on very damp ground in the middle of a walking track, in a reserve with a variety of native trees.


These are said to be concave at first, flattening out to discs later. The outer surface is said to be velvety with small scattered warty structures. Ascomycota
