Cortinarius areolatoimbricatus

Description:

These fruiting bodies were growing in a clump and therefore had distorted caps. Caps were about 11 cms wide, yellowish orange, dry and scaly. They had slightly in-rolled margins. Giills were a pale orange. Stipe was stout and white.

Habitat:

Growing in a eucalyptus forest.
