Sowbugs are often confused with woodlice, however, there are a couple of ways that you can tell the difference. Notice how this sowbug has a more flat profile with the edges even a bit flared out. Woodlice are more rounded, almost like half of a cylinder. Sowbugs are not able to roll up into a ball like woodlice.
