Puccinia sp.

Puccinia sp.

Description:

Found on a few Gooseberries near a gravel parking lot. Spores left on my finger after I touched it were the same color as you see. Not sure if it is a fungi or a slime mold. Leaves of the plant did not appear to be affected by this, only the fruit.
