Curve-billed Thrasher

Toxostoma curvirostre

Habitat:

Suburban area in Saguaro-dominated desert

Notes:

This is a common bird in the desert. I also observed these at the Stonecreek Golf Course in Paradise Valley. This bird has orange eyes and a longer bill than the similar Bendire’s Thrasher. It has a typical mimicking and garbled song.
