Southern Red-Billed Hornbill

Description:

An interesting perspective of this small bird in fligh as it passed over the top of us. Shot with a fast lens shutter speed (1/4000) and a good amout of luck. Red bill that is short compared to the yellow bill. White under belly and white distict feathers in the tale. Head tilted sideways to view below it.

Nah! That's not a Hornbill. It is an avian arrow. The leopard shots, the lion...now this Hornbill in flight...Lady Luck loves you! Thanks for sharing.
