The Bad-wing

Dyspteris abortivaria

Description:

Most Bad-wings have good wings, but this Bad-wing really did have a bad wing. It appeared dead on the sheet, but flew without any visible problems.

Notes:

Dyspteris abortivaria is named for the difficulty to spread the specimen in a collection. An ill-named moth in my opinion for such a beautiful moth.
