Description:

Large, pale-coloured waterbird, conspicuous dark chocolate-brown patch around its eye, head and neck are pale and dark brown patch around the base of the beak, usually joined to the eye patch by a narrow line

Habitat:

African bird now found in Britain, quite common in Norfolk where this was spotted
