Craterellus cornucopioides


Body can grow between 5 cm - 12 cm. Funnel/trumpet shaped, no distinction between cap and stem. Dark brown, gray to black. Darker on the inside of the funnel, and lighter on the outside. Widespread, fairly common, and edible!


Found on a mixed-forest floor.


Found during the Cranberry Bog Beaver HIke.
