Corpse Plant

Monotropa uniflora

Description:

A white plant that grows on the forest floor. Often seen alone or in clumps of various sizes. Corpse Plant is parasitic. Its roots contain fungi that branch out in search of living tree roots. Sugar from these roots is then carried by the fungi back to the plant.
