Red-veined Darter, Dragonfly

Sympetrum fonscolombii

Description:

It's a female, about 8 cm.

Habitat:

I found this dragonfly in a field near my house, along with many others: they stand clinging on top of long stems of dry grass and, sometimes, they make a short flight and then return to the same location on the same stem.
