I believe you are correct. I was using Audubon Insects and Spiders app as a guide. The representative picture of a blue dasher in that app led me astray. I should have done more homework on that. Thanks for the correction.

Although I cannot see the diagnostic thoracic stripes in this photo, the black abdominal tip, the size in comparison to the plant blade, the greenish eyes, and the amber markings on the wings lead me to think this is Pachydiplax longipennis.
