Description:

Cotton grass is a plant that grows near wetland areas during the late spring. It has a distinct look, with a tuft of white fluff at the top of it. Cotton grass is not actually a type of grass, but rather a plant since it has hairs that serve as petals.

Habitat:

Loch Garten, Scotland.
