Pisaura mirabilis

Description:

This very skinny spider belong to the pisauridae family, meaning it has 4 small eyes in a line and four bigger eyes in a trapezoid larger than it is long. This particular species is known for the breeding gift the male gives to the female. This particular specimen was (I think) a female as adult males are found untile june, and was resting on a grass stem not moving.

Habitat:

garden of a restaurant at 1500 mt. above sea level
