Gray Tree Frog

Hyla versicolor

Habitat:

Outdoor pool filter

Notes:

Lifer! I found this fine fellow hanging out in the intake port for a pool filter. I commonly find them there. I guess the bugs the filter sucks in are an easy meal. I found 2 gray tree frogs in the drains in the locker rooms while cleaning them out before we opened for the season.

Thank you for that information. I recently identified this species for another spotter and included the binomial name of course. D'oh.

Please add the scientific names to your spottings, until you do so the spottings are still considered incomplete and will not be added to the database. You can easily find scientific names by doing a quick Google search with the common names. Thanks.
