Description:

Very tall plant. Biennial, produces flowers in the second year of growth. Large, oval, hairy leaves. Thick, ridged stem. Flower spire produces small yellow, slightly crumpled looking blooms.

Habitat:

Roadside.

Notes:

These plants were over 5 feet tall. Introduced. History of medicinal uses. Apparently a tea can be made from the dried leaves. Use with caution.
