Description:

A nocturnal species of katydid. Green-colored leaf mimic. They are found abundantly in certain areas. Very inactive, does not move much or fly away. 34mm in length from forehead to wingtip. Same species as this spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/263...

Habitat:

On low plant leaves in Tawau Hills Park, Tawau, Sabah.

Notes:

>>>Map accuracy: 200m diameter. Spotted this during a nightwalk with Dan in one of the forest trails. Photography tips: Do not use powerful flash and lighting because this insect is highly reflective / fluorescent and will appear too bright in the photograph. Use minimum light when photographing this.
