Queen parrotfish ♂️

Scarus vetula

Description:

The development of parrotfishes is complex and accompanied by a series of changes in color (polychromatism). Most species are sequential hermaphrodites, starting as females (known as the initial phase) and then changing to males (the terminal phase). I have shown the initial female phase here: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/205... Now, this is the final, male phase.

Habitat:

Oil Slick leap, Bonaire.
