A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Litoria infrafrenata
A green amphibian. Probably a frog. Found in a shower in the Mission Beach region of Australia.
Clearly prefers wet and humid environments. Appears to be nocturnal.
Ah thank you (both for the welcome and the congratulations). We were staying in a really wonderful place to see wildlife at this house. I have quite a few photos from Australia and New Zealand to come, from the year that I lived and travelled there. I am now back in the UK though, so UK natives will be coming too.
Yes, now looks correct and btw welcome to Project Noah! Looking forward to see the amazing species of Australia. This is the world's largest tree frog so it's an amazing spotting, good job.
Ah yes sorry. It was taken in Australia, but my Internet was down and wouldn't let me change the location. Thanks for the help I.D.ing it. It should be change now :)
Ashley, her spotting location on the map was showing England instead Australia. I meant that she should fix her spotting location and of course this species are not found in England.
Faredin, the link you provided says the White-lipped Tree Frog is in Australia, I'm not sure where you got that it's in England from, but it isn't.
It looks like White-lipped tree frog (Litoria infrafrenata) but you should correct the location because it shows England instead Australia. Here is the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White-lippe...
