Green June Beetle

Description:

Family: Scarabaedae. Subfamily: Cetoniinae. Tribe: Cymnetini. Metallic green beetle with beige accent and upper legs. Length: 15-22 mm. Day feeders mostly on fruit, particularly rotting fruit. Larvae considered pests to grasses/lawn when in great numbers.

Habitat:

Meadows, fields.

Notes:

5th photo is a 2nd Green June Beetle spotted at the same time as the other one. (Range is Eastern USA)

Don't think I've seen the green one before, much nice than the regular brown june bug.
