not so common butterfly in my area. shoulder to the wing-tip: 20-26mm. ジャノメチョウ亜科 Satyrinae. japanese name: ヒメジャノメ. similar butterfly: Mycalesis francisca(コジャノメ).
mountain. food plant: Miscanthus sinensis(ススキ), Oplismenus undulatifolius(チヂミザサ).
