Sac Spider with Eggs

Description:

Tiny white Sac Spider, about 5 mm long, with her silken sac and eggs. Originally she was at the bottom of the sac with her long front legs around her eggs. I teased her out to get pictures of her. In the 2nd picture you can see how she made her sac by weaving the silk back and forth across an indentation in the leaf.

Habitat:

On a bush under the San Cristobal Bridge on the Highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 15, 1,500 meters.
