Gongora Orchid

Gongora cf. claviodora

Description:

An epiphytic orchid that forms pleated pseudobulb.

Notes:

This orchid was laying on the ground in the forest when I found it about 2 years ago. It was nearly dead. It seems to have recoved pretty well and this is the first time it's flowered. Descriptions of Gongora claviodora say that the flowers smell of cloves, which I couldn't smell. So maybe it's a similar but different species.
