Description:

this dainty butterfly (35-45mm wingspan) which rarely stays still is a restless flyer and is difficult to capture on camera... and one needs to be extremely patient to wait for it to alight to feed on a flower... or to take an occasional rest on a leaf (as in my photo). it is often seen fluttering feebly close to the ground just above flowering bushes.!
