Blue Mud Dauber

Chalybion californicum

Description:

This specimen was about 1 inch in length. I didn't notice a blue sheen to it. It didn't stick around long though.

Habitat:

Spotted at the edge of a field and wooded area.

Notes:

I think this is a Blue mud dauber. I'm not sure however.
