Description:

This large dark Skipper was camouflaged in the gravel along the highway. I've never seen this one before or since. It has a white band along the lower edge of the underwings.

Habitat:

Along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters.
