common swallowtail butterfly. look very like more common swallowtail "Papilio xuthus". caterpillar is obviously different. caterpillar food of other Japanese swallowtail is citrus usually, but this one isn't. shoulder to the wing-tip: 40-65mm. アゲハチョウ亜科 Papilioninae. food plant: (Carrot) Daucus carota ニンジン, Heracleum sphondylium var. nipponicum ハナウド. japanese name: キアゲハ(黄揚羽).

Habitat:

I usually found them on top of mountain.
