A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Breutelia affinis
Grows in large clumps. Has densely covered upright stalks/stems.
This was found growing on the shady side of an embankment of the Yarra River. The area is known as being dry sclerophyll forest.
Lichen, moss and ground cover are starting to reappear after the break from a long drought (10-12 years).
