very common medium large (7cm) dragonfly. it doesn't stop. fly on pond, usually find some of them. we have another common large (10cm) dragonfly "Anotogaster sieboldii"(オニヤンマ), usually compare between them. usually find only one. it doesn't stop too but fly away, never return. ヤンマ科 Aeshnidae. japanese name: ギンヤンマ.
