Colorado Front Range foothills; hilly, naturalized, suburban/rural yard with mostly deciduous trees, tall grasses

We get these in the house once or twice in a year, every few years

Good point, I'll fix that. Thanks! Pretty sure we didn't get a dorsal view.

Nice spotting, Rachel! If you don't know the scientific name for a spotting, please leave it blank and click on the "Help me ID this species" box. This tells the community that you need help.
If this is the only photo of this Sun Spider, then it most likely won't be ID'd any further as a dorsal view is needed. In this case, the order Solifugae will suffice in the scientific name.
