Description:

Violet-blue Salvia live flower spikes, 2 ft. high stems with fragrant licorice-scented leaves.

Habitat:

Spotted on Tamarac NWR at the Chippewa Picnic area. Grows in deciduous woods, sun or shade, prairies.

Notes:

Mint family. Flowers are attractive to bees.
