Rufous Whistlers

Pachycephala rufiventris

Description:

Small bird with grey head and back, white chin and buff underparts. The female (Shot 1) has a streaked chest and is much paler, while the male (Shot 2) has a dark band running from the eyes across the chest.

Habitat:

Seen in eucalypt forest on the banks of the Upper Noosa River.
