Description:

Shades of brown. Yellow, gray , or black, uniform or with ragged yellowish cross- bands. An eye shaped hood mark almost always present. Hood rounder and smaller than that of Spectacled Cobra

Habitat:

Inhabits wetter regions like Sundarbans, Common in rice -growing areas and plantation

Notes:

Mostly nocturnal, active at dusk and Dawn

@Yasminlodi actually it was startled by one of our field staff and thats why the striking pose, we just took some pics from safe distance without causing too much annoyance to him
